The library has resumed interlibrary loan (ILL) services. You may re-request ILLs that were already sent back to their lending library, or make a new ILL request, by submitting this form.

Due to nationwide library closures, wait times for ILL requests may be longer than usual. When ILLs arrive, they can be picked up at the Foothills Library drive-up window only.

Interlibrary loan materials have a checkout period of three weeks. To request a renewal for an ILL item, please contact 623-930-3558 or email InterlibraryLoan@glendaleaz.com. You may return your ILLs to our outside book drops, which will be open at all four locations.

Interlibrary loan (ILL) is the borrowing and lending of materials between libraries. If the Glendale Public Library does not have the book or article you want, we can attempt to get it for you through the ILL system free of charge. We will try to find a library that has your requested material and ask that library to loan it to us, so we can loan it to you.
If you have additional questions, please call 623-930-3558 and leave a message including your name and phone number.
