Using a library computer

The Glendale Public Library offers computers with internet access and a variety of software, including Microsoft Office products, at each location.


Wireless (Wi-Fi) internet access

Wi-Fi logoThe Glendale Public Library offers high-speed wireless (Wi-Fi) connectivity at all locations. Visitors may access the library’s network free of charge after obtaining a password at any of our public service desks.

You must abide by the library’s Acceptable Use of Electronic Information Systems Policy and Internet Use at the Library Policy to use the library's Wi-Fi. If you have questions about our Wi-Fi, please ask a member of staff.

Mobile Hotspots

Need Wi-Fi access at home? Check out a Mobile Beacon 4G hotspot! The library provides both the hotspot device and the internet service for free. Click here for more information about Mobile Hotspots.

Mobile Office to Go

Are you job hunting or pursuing higher education without access to a computer, Wi-Fi, or printing at home? Check out a Mobile Office to Go! This library kit provides a Chromebook, a printer, and a Franklin T9 4G mobile Wi-Fi hotspot with internet service that you can use for free! Click here for more information about Mobile Office to Go Kits.



Printing at the library

Printing at the library costs 20 cents per page for black and white copies and $1 per page for color copies. 


Scanners/Copiers 

All Glendale Public Library locations have free black & white/color scanning available through our public copy machines. Please bring your own USB drive to save your scanned files. Printed black & white copies are 20 cents per page, and color copying is not available.

3D Printing Service

Are you a businessperson, entrepreneur or inventor who needs a prototype of a product or invention? Are you a hobbyist, costume designer or cosplayer in need of an accessory? For anyone who needs small-scale 3D printing, it costs just ten cents ($0.10) per gram to bring your creation to life! Please visit our 3D printing page for more information.

IDEA Center Equipment

The Main Library's IDEA Center features two dedicated job-searching computers, a Canon black & white/color scanner (please bring your own USB drive to save your scanned files), a computer with specialized multimedia software, free résumé printing, and more. 

A faxing service is not available at the IDEA Center or any other Glendale Public Library location.
